I am a fully qualified Counselling Psychotherapist, and gained my qualification with the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body. I use a mainly Psychodynamic approach to counselling, but ultimately my training is as an Integrative therapist.
I have trained to Masters level in both Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (MA), and Addiction Counselling & Psychology (MSc)
In my private practice at Transitions Counselling, I provide short and long term counselling and psychotherapy. I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
As well as having my own private practice, I work for both MIND, and Terrence Higgins Trust. At MIND I help people with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar or schizophrenia. With Terrence Higgins Trust, I am currently running sexual addictions workshops.
I have experience in working with Bereavement, Abuse, Depression & Anxiety, Addictions, Relationship Issues, Anger Management, Sexuality, Gay / Lesbian Issue's, HIV / AIDS, Identity, Suicidal Thoughts, Addiction, Stress and Childhood Related Issue's, Low Self-Esteem, Bullying, Self Harm, Gambling, Alcoholism and Bipolar Disorder.
